MUN : First Experience
Recently, I attended my first ever Model United Nations (MUN - DWMUN). In the beginning, I was frightened and didn't know if I would actually make it through the event without embarrassing myself or stuttering but thankfully nothing of that sort happened. The experience was enriching. It was really good. Also, the chairpersons and the moderator were extremely helpful and guided us very well. They also answered all of our questions patiently. So, as a first-timer, I would say they were really very considerate and accommodating. The procedure was quite technical and seemed quite difficult to get but with 2 hours into the MUN and I had finally comprehended what we were supposed to do and what was expected of us. It was a two-day MUN. I had spoken in two moderated caucuses. They were basically the topics that you were expected to speak on. The press conference was absolutely terrifying.
