Lockdown
Honestly, lockdown at beginning sounded pretty cool for an indoor person like me. In fact I enjoyed the first few months thoroughly. I was really happy that my exams were cancelled and nobody could nag me to go downstairs and play. But suddenly online schooling began and from the very start I hate online schooling. I think that attending school physically is better than attending online classes. Physical classes were much more entertaining and practical whereas on the other side online schooling was just as boring and eye-straining. I can’t just stare at the screen, the presentation ma’am is showing and listen to her and understand. I need much more physical teaching to understand. But seeing the conditions, I started to get used to online schooling and I don’t think I had a choice. Moving on, now, a year later, I don’t think of lockdown in such high regards. In fact, now I am too bored and frustrated of staying inside the house. Sometimes, I just want to go outside and play and walk to my heart’s content, without a mask, without any restraints. What makes it worse is that the conditions outside in the city, country, and world haven’t improved which means I don’t get to step out without my mask. Now as I am writing this, It’s raining outside, I just want to run out an get wet in the rain, enjoy it without thinking of cold, cough, Covid-19. Alas, I have to wait, wait for this to be over, for conditions to improve, for the world to recover.
